John was a dedicated volunteer, giving his time and talents to the Boy Scouts, Rotary, and his church. A longtime member of the downtown Wenatchee Rotary Club, John served as President and held various leadership roles, always leading with kindness and dedication. He had a gift for making newcomers feel welcome, always ready with an encouraging word or a listening ear. Whether lending a hand on a project or stepping up to lead, John’s actions inspired many, leaving a lasting impact on his community.

In memory of John McDarment, Natalie Noyd will host a BBQ rib dinner for eight this spring in Phil’s red barn in Wenatchee. Dinner will be to Mr. McDarment’s liking: Ribs with all the fixings and a little bit of whiskey (and other adult beverages).
